I gave it a try, but none of the matches really went anywhere. I’m cautious about where I spend my time and what apps I trust, so after a while it just started to feel like a bit of a waste. Maybe it works better for other people, but my experience was underwhelming.

I’ve been using mutual.app for a bit now, and I expected it to be more clunky or annoying than it is. But it’s been smooth so far. The layout is simple, and I didn’t really have to spend time figuring anything out, which I appreciate. It loads fine for me, and I haven’t had issues with crashes or lost messages. Nothing flashy, but it does what I need without making things complicated

I’ve been using it for a bit now, and the notifications are solid. Most of the alerts I get actually make sense and are things I’d want to know about. Every now and then a random one pops up and I’m like, “okay, not sure why I needed that,” but it doesn’t happen enough to be annoying. Overall, they’re mostly on point...

I’ve had a really good experience with this so far. Swiping feels super smooth, and the discovery tab actually shows people I could see myself wanting to meet, which is a nice change. It’s easy to use, not cluttered, and makes the whole process feel a lot more comfortable and encouraging...

I was a little cautious at first. New app, personal info, all that. But mutual.app actually makes the privacy stuff clear. I can choose what I share, what I don’t, no weird guessing. It feels simple. Not invasive. Not creepy like some other apps I’ve tried.

I was a little surprised by how active Mutual is. I know people complain about dating apps, and sure, not every match is going to turn into something, but that’s kind of normal. I’ve been seeing new profiles often, and I’ve gotten replies faster than I have on other apps. It doesn’t feel like a bunch of abandoned accounts just sitting there. For what it is, I’ve been happy with it.

I signed up expecting to meet people who were actually serious about faith, but i got annoyed fast. A lot of the profiles felt random, inactive, or just not on the same page as what I was looking for. I don’t have the patience to dig through that, so it just wasn’t for me.

But whoever is handling the app performance really needs to get it together, because it gets slow at the most annoying times. It works fine most days, sure, but when it drags, it’s frustrating. Overall it’s still worth trying, but the app could be way better if they actually fixed the issues.

I paid for the premium version and didn’t end up using much that felt all that useful. The billing was kind of confusing, and canceling took more effort than I expected. I’m sure I wouldn’t pay for it again.

The messaging feels so clunky sometimes it makes me want to scream. Chats lag here and there, and notifications randomly don’t show up, so I end up missing stuff and wondering if my phone has betrayed me. It technically works, but the conversation tools feel super basic and way more annoying to use than they should be.

I like that Mutual lets you show your photos a few different ways, not just the same boring layout every time. Uploading them was simple too. A couple pics did take a little while to load for me, but overall it looks clean and works good.

I think the distance settings work well overall. I do wish it updated a bit faster, but the location filters seem to help narrow things down

I’ve had a good experience with mutual so far. I reported a weird profile and support got back to me in about a day, which felt quick to me. They ended up removing it after they checked it out, so that was reassuring. I do think moderation can feel a little slow sometimes, especially on weekends, though maybe I’m just being impatient. Either way, it still seems better than a few other apps I’ve tried. I’d give it 4 stars.

I really wanted to give mutual a fair shot, but my gut reaction was that the inclusivity settings feel limited. If you don’t fit neatly into the usual categories, there just isn’t much space to explain who you are or what you’re actually looking for.

The app itself runs fine, but something about the setup made me feel like certain people weren’t fully being thought about. I hope they improve it, because right now it left me feeling more frustrated than welcomed.
